Eleventh Step Ministries delivers Life Recovery Bible Study Classes to you or can help you set up your own classes through our Mentoring program. We use the Life Recovery Bible Study Series from Arterburn & Stoop sold by Tyndale Press. This Bible Series has been created specifically for people in recovery from any of life’s problems.

The Life Recovery Bible Series is written from a 12-Step perspective and we encourage you to take a look by clicking on this link to learn more. Since we come from a 12-Step Program background at Eleventh Step Ministries, we create Life Recovery Bible Meetings similar in design to traditional Program Meetings. For example, we’ve created a Pre-Amble, say the long form of the Serenity Prayer to open our meetings, observe no “Cross Talk Rule”, and close with the Lord’s Prayer. This format has definitely been a huge part of the success in our now thriving Recovery Ministries and cannot be emphasized enough!

The Life Recovery BibleWe use the Life Recovery Bible, Workbook, and Journal to guide us on our journey of Christ-centered recovery. We do not need to be biblical scholars as everything is clearly laid out in the Life Recovery Bible, Workbook and Journal, even page numbers for those who are unfamiliar with the Bible (Most of us!) We can use the Life Recovery Bible in several different ways which are outlined in the “User Guide” section of the Life Recovery Bible.

There are so many other ways in which we add value to the Bible Study Classes and we will be happy to share all those ways with you when you contact us!

Goal: Invite people in recovery programs who want to learn more about the Bible and Christ to our Life Recovery Bible Study Meetings. Provide a familiar meeting within a one-hour time frame with typical program meeting rules and regulations with the opportunity to ask questions after the appointed meeting times. Work with people in love and support to help guide them on their journey closer to Christ, one day at a time.

We’ve had many people ask us how to set up a Recovery Program at their church. Depending on your audience, facility, volunteers and goals, we can show you how to set up a Recovery Ministry.

This was so great today. I loved being in God’s Word in a 12-step recovery setting. Laura runs a smooth ship and thinks of every little detail.
